Can either wield two weapons and go ham on damage or wield a shield and weapon and be more defensive. ![]() It would be nice just to have a specific "Class Passive: Effect" under the class description just so we don't have to assume. Close-up combat with hand-to-hand weapons like swords and maces. Some of the last upgrades get really expensive. Please tell me this means increased Gem or Gold drop rate (or both), because that might make the Pirate the best class for farming Gems. Looking at all the class descriptions & being unable to figure out some of their passives in conjunction with vague, misleading or confusing descriptions, has made me wonder if not all classes even have a passive. ![]() Not just because of attack & damage but the spammable leap that stuns enemies at your landing point lets you wreck in the dungeons & traverse the swamp waters with ease, leaping many of the gaps others would slowly wade through. I have mostly been playing the Knight as having tried all but the pirate it does seem the best class thus far. You could inteperate this to mean a passive that grants increased sword reach & ignoring (or chance to ignore) damage below certain amount, however I recognise that this is most likely not a passive & instead is a description of how the Knight has the highest attack & defence of all the classes. The Knight's description says "carries a bigger sword and shrugs off small amounts of damage". I think this is another confusing class passive description just like the Reaper's. So if by help the party it means in-directly by making sure you take care of yourself. However there isn't bonus recipes in the potion shop, & whilst the ones she brews may very well be stronger, when used it only effected me, not my teammate who was stood right next to me. I just tried the Witch whose description says "brews up more powerful recipes to help the party brave the dungeon". I read that thread exclaiming that the mage wasn't doing bonus damage with the wand as it's description implied. Just to put that into perspective Patch 1 is coming this Friday and will contain a bunch of hotfixes based on Day 1 player feedback and bug reports :) The team are confident on a fix for this and are hoping to have it addressed in Patch 2. They've looked into it and discovered some discrepancies with the 'Class Passives' and it seems they aren't behaving as described. ![]() ![]() I've fed both this thread and the Reaper one back to the team. I just addressed a similar topic about the Mage and their magic damage in a similar thread, so I thought I'd grab what I said and share it with you all here too:
